  • Willie Mae “Bill” Robinson-Nichols

    Willie Mae Nichols, 79, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015.

    Willie was born in Malvern, on April 3, 1936 to John Raymond Robinson and Maggie Robinson. She went by “Bill” by all her family members throughout her life. Willie spent most her life in Ohio, Oregon and Texas but always considered Malvern her home.

    Willie spent a lot of her time at the Lake Worth Senior Citizen Center. She loved to play bridge and Texas Hold’em. She also enjoyed line dancing and socializing with her many friends. She was involved in the local Friendship club and attended the local Catholic Church. Willie was also known for her beautiful spirit; she was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

    She is preceded in death by her son, Kurt Krom.

    She is survived by her sons, Burton Krom, of Ft. Worth, TX and Karl Krom of Portland OR; her daughters, Holly Mooney of Ft Worth, TX and Anna Krom of Roseburg, OR; she also leaves behind,  three grandchildren, Gabrielle Venable, Michael Krom, and Cody Krom.

    Graveside services will be held on Saturday November 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.at Big Creek Cemetery.

    I work at Rickords Animal Hospital and cared for her sweet furr baby Bonnie! They were both my favorite and I'm heart broken to hear about the news. May God bless her family during the hard times they go through. Heaven gained an amazing women!
